Al Banna
A personal journal of building things.
Hello
I’m Al Banna Muhammad. I mess with security, DevSecOps, and teaching people how not to foot-gun themselves in production — day job at Practical DevSecOps, home base Bogor.
I’ve also hung around Kominfo and Solo Technopark in earlier chapters of the story: less “origin movie,” more “I needed rent and liked routers.” I studied Computer Engineering at Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta and survived. There are certificates somewhere (CDP, CCSE, CCNA-ish things, Cisco moods). If you need the full trophy shelf, it lives on LinkedIn — I won’t list every badge here; this isn’t a speedrun.
This site
albanna.id is my scratchpad: stuff I learned, broke, or fixed and decided was too long for a one-liner in chat. English, Indonesian, occasional Javanese when the keyboard has opinions.
Vibes
- Explaining security without sounding like a PDF
- Making labs that feel like reality, not a museum diorama
- Admitting when something was a 1-hour side quest and not a moon landing
